The Ristorante dei Merli di Sovana restaurant opened in the beginning of the 20th century and remains today a symbol of the town’s rich traditions. Our restaurant prides itself with serving classic local dishes inspired by the Maremman cuisine and taken from recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. Pici all’agliata (pasta with garlic oil), acquacotta (a Tuscan vegetable soup), lamb and game meat served in the traditional Buglione style are just some of our signature dishes. In order to provide you with the best of traditional cuisine, the restaurant follows the Slow Food project of Gastronomia a KM 0, ensuring that all our vegetables, cured meats, cheese and game come from the local area. To complete your culinary experience we also serve grilled feast where you can choose the cut and weight of any local meat which we will grill for you in the traditional Tuscan style. Half Board Price: 27 euros per person The choice of dishes for half or full board include everything on the menu with the exception of some special-order dishes and meats. |
